We are a highly impacted Title 1 school with 97% free or reduced price lunch. Most of my student come from financially unstable, very broken, very dysfunctional homes and tend to struggle academically. However, each one of them desperately wants to succeed and tries really hard to do so. I too want nothing more than see my students succeed this year. Our school has a large population of homeless students, and my class has several of those students.
