The furniture I inherited when I took the job at my school library is solid, but really uncomfortable for my little students. The furniture is up high, hard to get on and off and really doesn't inspire my students to want to curl up and read. I have bought bean bags with my own money and the kids gravitate towards them. They beg for more, but I simply do not have any more money in my own personal budget. The gift of bean bags will truly excite my little readers. They will love to be able to grab a book and fall into a bean bag to read.
