I am a first grade teacher at a Title-One elementary school near Charleston, South Carolina. Our class family includes 20 loving, compassionate, energetic, and curious first grade students! My students love to play games for skills practice. They love movement and music to remember processes. My first graders thrive with challenging tasks place before them. My students love to ask questions to learn more. My 20 students have molded themselves into a family unit that understands they are valuable members of the same family, but no two family members are exactly the same. Some students will thrive when given additional seating options.
