As a history/social studies teacher, I struggle to make learning about the history of our country relevant to today's world. In this project students will work in groups to create videos simulating presidential campaign commercials as part of a larger exploration of this years presidential election. This component of the project is incredibly important for getting students interested and invested in the process. Students will use the iPad requested to research information on the Presidential Candidate assigned to their group and use that information to create a campaign commercial for that candidate. This device will allow the students an opportunity to be innovative, work together and use information to create a product which shows their knowledge and creativity.
