I teach Physiology to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Most of the students think they are physically fit. Learning that takes place in the classroom is academic but the use of the Fitbit is real world application. It will solidify the reality of their physical fitness for many, while for others it will be a wake up call to their true state of physical fitness. What better way to let the student discover the ways he can increase his physical fitness, than with technology of the 21st century. Fitbits have a cool factor about them, are easy to use, and help the student obtain personalized data helping them further their own personal physical fitness level. Fitbits will change the lives of my Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors!
