My students are awesome! I have 25 energetic curious learners. Our class has a great diverse group of kids. We have English Language Learners, kids with physical disabilities, kids with social challenges, and kids that are very advanced academically. Several of my students come from single parents or two-working parent homes and a few live with grandparents. My students range from learning letter sounds to reading chapter books. In math we have the same broad range. No matter the advantage or disadvantage they have, they are all eager to learn! I am trying to teach them to be lifelong learners. I encourage them to do hard things and make good choices every day. I am trying to prepare them for jobs that don’t yet exist.
