These materials will give our students the chance to borrow books from a library that comes right to their classroom - in style! This offers an exciting change from the classroom routine and establishes a reading "habit" that will serve them throughout their lives, by encouraging regular reading for pleasure activities. When the Rolling Red Reading Cart arrives, students will be able to borrow and read books, and prepare to participate in sharing circles in which they show and discuss their books, listen and learn about books other students have read, and plan for borrowing and reading new books in the future.
