Welcome! I am a 5th grade bilingual teacher at North Elementary in Brentwood, NY. I love being with my students and watching them grow as they learn each day. However there are times when my students are deprived of things that other students may have access to such as technology, supplies, or activities. Unfortunately due to school budgets and being located in a low-SES area, teachers are often paying for educational supplies/activities out of pocket or "making-do" with what we are given by the school. I have recently learned that Donors Choose is a great way to fund supplies/activities for our students. Thank you to all the generous donors out there! You have truly made an impact on the education of our children!
