Composition notebooks will be used for writing and writer’s workshop, while the spiral notebooks will allow each student to have notebooks for 3 different subjects. My students will be able to take notes and create interactive notebooks in math, science, and language arts. Each student will be able to have a binder to help them stay organized. With the colored pencils, students can show their creative side, because no classroom would be complete without a little bit of color! Of course, we can’t forget the all important Kleenex tissue for runny noses!
