Google Apps for Education (GAFE) will allow me to get my students in one place and easily assign work for students to turn in. I plan to introduce GAFE through whole group first and then work with my students in small groups to get them fully acquainted with the features. It will allow me to create lessons share resources, promote collaboration, identify students who need help and reduce paper. My first 30 days of every school year is to teach and implement routines. Implementing the Chromebooks can easily be worked into our daily routine, that will in turn help my students become creative and engaged independent workers. It will help prepare students for future careers which no doubt include the use of wireless technology. Interesting technology into my classroom will allow me to reach the diverse learning styles of my students. A room with technology is a happier environment. Students are excited at being able to use technology and more open to learning. It will also allow me to take on an adviser, coach and encourager role.
