One area I struggle with is finding books that my boys will dive into and read. I am continuing to build my classroom library focusing on books of high interest to my boys. Imagine walking into a classroom and finding a book that you can't put down. What a gift! As a class we read independently on a daily basis, my boys often spend their time trying to find a book rather than actually reading. They have compiled a list of books that they'd love to have at their fingertips. I believe by providing books of high interest, I can instill a lifelong love of reading to these reluctant readers.
