All of the items I have selected will allow my students to explore and experiment fitness opportunities. Currently in the United States, CrossFit has become very popular. These items will allow my students to have CrossFit opportunities without the associated cost which they cannot afford. Fitness equipment focuses on each individual working out, whereas team sports tend to focus on the students that have had prior experience. The medicine balls, slam balls, and gliding discs will allow all my students to try new things and improve at each station throughout the semester. The quote of the semester for my PE class is, "Try and fail but don't fail to try." This equipment will allow my students to try lots of new activities and gain confidence as they do so.
