I teach kindergarten-5th grade Physical Education. My classroom environment can be described as high-energy, competitive, supportive, and fun for all of my students. We have equipment which is great for teaching my students basic locomotor skills so that we can use those skills during gameplay. However, in a day and age where obesity and inactivity is becoming more of an issue, PE programs are transitioning to fitness based classes. I would love to have more equipment that allows my students to see the importance of fitness and how it relates to them in not only PE, but outside of the classroom and for the rest of their life!

About my class
