The robotic pets will allow students to benefit from the tranquility of animals. In my classroom, students often participate in Calm Classroom to destress from life stresses. Students often utilize the Calm Corner that allows the students to have quiet time and practice calming strategies to get ready to learn. Research has proven the animal and human connection have unlimited long term benefits. Providing a life like animal for students to hold, caress, and befriend allows that child to develop an outlet for the many stresses and frustrations they deal with daily.

About my class
