If my students are given the chance to have quality headphones, they will be able to consistently hear the Lexia, iReady, and Unique Learning Systems programs that the school has purchased. Their learning potential will be endless! These programs have been proven to be successful ways to ensure students are learning during independent time. Currently, the students have to listen through the Chromebook speakers and it gets loud and distracting in my classroom pretty quickly. Headphones for each student will help immensely. I have chosen headphones that come with their own plastic carrying case in order to teach the students responsibility and to keep germs to a minimum.
