As a new teacher to the school, I am excited that I will be able to offer the same hands-on learning experiences to my new students as I was for my past students. As teachers, we are always striving to give our students a well-rounded and engaging experience. With over 80% of students coming from low-income households, there is a definite need for funding to make active learning possible. We are always striving to give our students a well-rounded and engaging experience every day. We are a Title I school, working to enhance learning for our students. Our school will soon seek STEAM certification that will provide even more active learning experiences for our students. We just need the resources that they will use as they learn.
