My students are in second grade, between the ages of 7-8 in a school of about 300 students grade PreK-5th. Our school is a small school in a beautiful mountain setting. Most of the kids are low-income families, they get dropped off and picked up because there are no after school programs. My students like to read and play and are very active. They love to work together in small groups and they love to listen to stories on audio.
