Our school is a Title I school, we have lot of poverty within our school. Integrating technology is costly and our funds are used in others places throughout the year. I have the privilege of working with awesome first graders who are at least a year behind academically. Learning is not something that comes easy to my students. They struggle daily with reading, writing, and math. I work with them daily in small groups to provide instruction on their reading and math levels. They are all very eager to learn and work very hard everyday. The children are very active and I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to learn using technology. Using the IPads my students will have the ability to learn to work together and become interactive in their learning. My personal goal for my students is to have them on level by the time they finish first grade. There is no greater reward than watching my students learn and be successful.
