My school is in an extremely rural community. I'm blessed to have been given students who have a genuine desire to learn, to read, and to enjoy our time together at school! My students plead with me to read in solitude with the books I read aloud to them. They love getting their hands on books and practicing what they've learned. If I can provide my children with Kindles, their love of books and their fascination with technology can combine for amazing progress in early childhood literacy skills!
