I am a 26 year old free willingly working at a charter school, hoping to give children a fair opportunity to learn. I always knew I wanted to work with students who did not have a lot of love outside of the school or could not afford a proper education. My motto is that all students should have the best education. This is why I have chosen to work at a charter school. Being 26 years old, I find it difficult to get all the supplies I need. Truthfully there is so much more I would want to bring into my classroom for my students, but these materials help make sure my students actually have the basic necessities for learning. Everyday I get to work with my friends and family, who are actually my students. Some days the job is harder than others especially when I find out someone close to them was shot or that they did not get dinner the night before. I want my class to feel like home for my students.
