The use of technology has become a part of our daily lives, especially in schools. Students are expected to know how to navigate a computer to be successful. Students will use the computers and laptop to participate in a variety of speech-language therapy activities. Our current computers are outdated and do not have the capacity to run the programs. The computers rarely work and can be frustrating for my students! Students will be able to use the new computers to run programs that differentiate and meet the needs of various learning styles, reading levels, and more! Students will also be able to conduct internet research, collaborate with others, and improve keyboarding skills. My students are very motivated by technology and enjoy incorporating interactive computer activities during speech-language therapy sessions.
