Four of the six classes I teach are English 9 Honors/English 9 classes. Many of our To Kill a Mockingbird books resemble this one - loose pages, worn cover, and a frayed binding. I would love to be able to put new books in my students' hands. Past students have loved this book. It is filled with memorable characters and heartbreaking conflict. It seems more important than ever in today's world to have students read this book. My current project, "Learning Empathy; Reading Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird" qualifies for the #filleveryshelf promotion. All donations made Tuesday, March 16, will be matched to double the impact of individual donations. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! With gratitude, Mrs. Sparling
