Remote learning last year was hard on students and families, but especially the students at our school who are furthest away from educational justice. My classroom will consist of students who experienced a wide range of learning last year, including students who didn't attend remote learning at all due to circumstances out of their control. Our district-mandated curriculum does not address this severe learning loss, so it will be up to me to find (and pay for) ways to meet students where they are at, and catch them up to grade level by the end of school year. Teacher Pay Teacher will solve this problem. All my students learning needs can be easily met.
