I have been a teacher for 16 years and I just love it. My favorite part is building a community and a learning environment that helps children love learning, love themselves and love each other. I remember which teachers I had that created positive classrooms and had memorable projects. Over the years I have spent an amazing amount of my personal salary on my classroom (you should see my classroom library) but now that I have a house and kids of my own, I can't spend so freely.
