I am asking for sets of puppets and a puppet theater to encourage my kids to go beyond listening to stories. I want to make sure that they have the materials to create their own stories and fairy tales. I want to be able to provide the resources that will help them grow their vocabulary and foster a love of great literature. The puppet theater provides children with a way to demonstrate their knowledge of lessons and literature through creative play. By giving the children an outlet to perform familiar stories, as well as making up their own, the puppets and puppet theater will aid in expanding vocabulary, creative thought, pretend play, and peer interaction.
