Hi there! My name is Patrick Mattia and I teach Vocal Music at Grand Center Arts Academy in St. Louis, MO. I strive to bring the beauty of choral music into my classroom on a daily basis. I look at my classes like a coach looks at a sports team--a group of diverse, different people coming together with a unified goal of producing something awesome that nobody could have produced on his or her own. So much of our society and education system stresses individual achievement. Ensemble music classes are one of the last few places where the communal goal is on a higher pedestal than the individual goals. Please consider joining me in my efforts to make Grand Center Arts Academy a better place through the joy of singing.
