We live in a very hot environment and our plants get thirsty. Garden hoses and holders are vital to the success of our school gardens, which are located in various parts of our school campus. The students will be responsible for taking care of the school gardens, so we need a watering method that is "little hands" user friendly. These materials will enable students of all ages to independently water the gardens. By being able to roll up the hoses, the students are learning care of materials and responsibility. When it is their turn to water the gardens they will be able to unroll the hoses, water the gardens, and put all supplies away neatly. That way, our materials will last a long time.
