Students will be using smart boards during literacy and math. It will make learning phonics, grammar, comprehension, and math fun and accessible for all students. They will be using the smart board on a daily basis as a whole group or in small groups to practice new skills. Students may even feel inclined to make digital presentations and use the smart board to demonstrate their technology skills. Giving my students access to this type of technology will provide them with interesting and engaging ways to learn. Students in my class will be better equipped to navigate technology as it is also a skill that is necessary to be successful in their educational career.
