This document scanner will be used in my personal classroom by each class to help facilitate the recording of work as evidence towards proficiency of science standards. If students do paper-based lab work and documentation of data or free-hand models, they currently have no way of submitting that work digitally. We have taken pictures using laptop cameras, but the quality comes out very poorly. I have also tried using our teachers’ room photocopier scanner feature but the amount of work to distribute the images was too tedious to try again. Students will have much more streamlined access with their own scanner.
