My students range from a variety of regular education students and special education students. They come from a diverse group, military households, single parent homes, first generation families and locals. They come from a wide range of economic backgrounds from lower economic to middle class. A portion of the students come from the Hawaiian homelands area where they have to qualify for the affordable housing. The ethnic make up is diverse to a host of students which makes this high school awesome. Seeing students of Japanese, Filipino, Caucasian, African-American, Hawaiian, Samoan and many others learn and interact with each other is what makes our high school and Hawaii unique.
