As a teacher, it is a dream to come upon a school that seems to fulfill your every need and want. I am lucky enough to have found that school my very first year. My passion is teaching students who come from less fortunate backgrounds and attempting to make an impact within their lives. My school allows me to fulfill that need and continually grow as a teacher. My students are incredible. They come from every nationality you can imagine and are usually first generation Americans. They bring a sense of pride and culture to our school that I have never witnessed before. With this, certain experiences are ones that are beyond my comprehension; some good, others not. I strive to provide authentic learning opportunities in order to help develop their learning. Symbiotically, I learn something new from my students everyday. They provide me insight into a world I have never been a part of but strive to understand and respect. Together, we make an awesomely dynamic team.
