I want my students to be able to experience technology in my classroom on a daily basis. I want my students to have the same experiences as students in suburban schools. We lived in a technology driven world and I want to make sure every child who walks out my door is prepared for that. The children who walk through my doors come in on so many different levels. There are all kinds of learners. There are auditory, visual, kinesthetic as well as a combination of these. They all beat to their own drum and learn in their own way. These five mini iPads will help me differentiate my instruction and give the children the opportunity to work at their own pace. They will use math and reading apps to improve their skills while they learn how to navigate the world of technology during center time.
