We are a multiage second grade classroom, meaning the majority of the students(30)are second graders however, I often have first graders or third graders in my room who read and write at a second grade level. My students are a sweet group of students who are motivated to learn. We are part of a Title 1 school with 100% of the students receiving free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Many of my students come from single parent homes, live with grandparents, or have parents incarcerated. Many of my families face challenges and are not able to provide the finances, time, or experiences to help support learning at home either with or without technology. I currently have one computer, 2 iPads, tape player and a Leapfrog in my classroom;obviously we are very outdated. I have been saving up book order points for the past 6 years to purchase an iPad mini which I hope to be able to obtain by mid year. Having these iPads in
