My students are well behaved, curious, eager pre-teens. They rely on their teachers to provide consistency, kindness, support and knowledge about life and academics. When they are with me during our short writing period I try to give them lessons that will live far beyond the classroom. Copy paper may seem like something a school district may provide, or a supply that teachers have no problem purchasing on their own. Normally I do purchase many classroom supplies for my classroom and students. However, this year I teach 3 times more students than I ever have. I have gone through more reams of paper in this past month than I ever have. Between classroom handouts, exit slips, notes to parents and of course homework, I can't seem to have enough printer paper this year!
