I teach third grade students at a large Title 1 School located in Marrero, Louisiana. Not only do we have students from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade attending, we also have the largest SPED population in our district. We provide 100% free breakfast & lunch programs to all students. My students come from many different cultural backgrounds as well as family situations. Many of the students I teach have experienced some of life's difficulties at the young age of eight years old. My top priority in my classroom is to create a safe haven for my students full of exploration, fun, fairness, and most importantly the equal opportunity to learn!
