My school is a Title 1 school within the city limits. I work with the lowest 12 students in the 6th grade. Many of my students come to school without breakfast in the morning and often times they don't have the money to buy lunch. They want to do their best, but the difficulties they face outside of the building impacts them greatly. I want to do all that I can for my students and let them know that they are safe and loved while at school.

About my class
