My students reside in an low income area. Most of them come from single family homes. Some are being raised by someone other than a parent (grandparent, foster care, etc,). My students are warm and caring. They are hard workers and are beginning to value the opportunities being given to them. My school is struggling to maintain order while implementing quality instruction. There is limited technology available to staff and students. We have a staff of dedicated teachers that are working towards a common goal. The teachers truly put their students first.
