Our students come from various backgrounds, the majority from single parent homes. Motivating them is the biggest challenge. I find manipulates and games that will excite them and give them the challenge to take ownership of their learning. Teaching them to work together and help each other is a challenge as well. I love working with the toughest students. Giving these boys and girls an extra responsibility is the key in winning a place in their hearts. Manipulatives or garden items help with those extra responsibilities. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can help us out with.

About my class
