These books will provide learning that goes beyond the basic frameworks and provides students with much needed enrichment experiences. These honors students, while highly capable, can often be overlooked as many efforts are focused on students who are under-performing. While under-performing students are certainly a concern, every student deserves the chance to be pushed and to grow including the academic achievers who I serve. Students will be able to borrow books from the classroom library and work on independent projects, learning new programming languages or furthering their studies in classroom-based work. The students in my after school enrichment program will have access to fun, challenging board games that are not only entertaining, but that require mathematics and language skills to play successfully.
