Everyday during Readers Workshop, I try to meet with as many reading groups as possible. Most of my students are at different reading levels and many are below grade level. To assure that my students continue to improve their literacy skills, it is important to give them access to leveled books; to make sure they are reading books at both their instructional and independent level. Unfortunately, I do not have enough books at their level or of high interest. Please help give my students an opportunity to explore the world of reading and help them become strong readers. By supporting this project, these guided readers will be used daily during small group workshops allow my students to easily access a variety of books to read. Having books at their reading level will also help my students to become confident readers and help continue to build their fluency, comprehension skills and reading strategies. It will not only help my students this year, but for the many years to come.
