My students love to interact with technology. They get excited about working on the iPads we currently have, but their excitement would be overwhelming if they each had their own. Now they often share with several of their peers. These iPad minis and headphones will give students the opportunity to progress more quickly on their individual literacy needs such as learning to identify letters, learning letter sounds, and learning to write letters by tracing. They also love songs and books that they choose. They will be working independently with minimal support, which encourages confidence and capability. Technology will expand their learning into all areas of the curriculum.
