The pandemic has created an educational environment full of challenges for both students and teachers that we could not have predicted. Teaching and learning remotely with young learners has proven challenging to say the least. My goal in this project is to increase student engagement during live lectures and pre-recorded lesson videos. Using an iPad as a teacher input device will allow students to benefit from improved visualizations of class materials and greater engagement through handwritten annotations. Being able to emphasize items, add handwritten notes and drawings to class activities in real-time will greatly improve student attention and understanding. By donating to this project, it will not only help improve and increase student attention and engagement, but you will also be supporting our efforts to increase the students' awareness of biological systems and better understand the situation we find ourselves in today. Thank you for helping me help my student learn biology in these trying times.
