I am the 5th and 6th grade ESOL teacher at Rosa L. Parks Elementary School. Most of my students speak Spanish, and are reading significantly below grade level. The students are from low-income families, with the majority qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Not all students have access to appropriate books and print resources at home, so they come to my classroom to checkout books to take home with them. Reading is such an important life skill, and I want to make sure my classroom reading environment is organized, easy, and of course fun to use!
