We have approximately 300 students from kindergarten through fourth grade at Eastview Elementary, and about 700 students at IMS. Many of these children come from low income homes and receive free and reduced lunch. General music is a part of the curriculum through grade 6. I use my training in Orff and Kodaly to keep the music instruction active. The students sing, and play while creating and learning about music.
