My school is an urban, Midwestern location. My students are incredibly genuine and motivated to learn. They are experiencing a transition to the Middle School atmosphere for the first time and are not accustomed to the amount of sitting and listening this new format requires of them. Their desire to learn is evident, but the transition and stationary elements of the classroom are trying on them.
