The items I am requesting for my students will help them with their fidgeting and sensory needs. My students will be able to stay seated for longer periods of time which will benefit them academically. Furthermore, the other students will also benefit of the outcomes of these items because the fidgeting will be reduced and distractions minimized. Lastly, the listening center can be used during small group instructions. In an inclusive class, teaching has to be modified and re-taught; therefore, the teacher must be creative in how she can reach all types of learners. The listening center can have a small group of students working on a story, while the teacher will further assist other students.
