My students are hungry for education. They have an excitement for learning! A large amount of my students come from single parent homes...the majority of students live with a single grandparent. Currently 83% of our students receive free or reduced meals, based on income. In our small town, we do not have a community center or boys and girls club to attend. Our schools has taken many budget cuts over the past few years. The school system at this time simply does not have the funds to provide the yearbook staff with a digital camera.
