It's been the desire of every kid in my AP Environmental Science class to do well in the exam. The score of 5 is elusive - but I want my students to never falter from their goal. With the crash course text within reach for each one of them, my kids can supplement their study even outside the classroom - at home or even before they go to their jobs (as several of them work after-school). We can do so much in the classroom too - concept maps, diagrams, charts - that's how we translate our understanding into paper and the markers and coloring pens will make it more fun. With these support provided, I could share with my kids the value of preparedness and the belief that we can always reach our goals whenever we try - for us, a good exam score (5!) will just be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - thus, color 'em five.
