This carpet will allow students an assigned area that they can call their own when we work as a whole group covering all subject matters during class time. We as a class can also utilize the color squares to help break out into small groups for reading and center time rotations. It will also allow students a comfortable place to read independently during Silent Sustained Reading and to play during Free Choice Time on Fridays, as well as, rainy days. This carpet will allow students to work in a safe place or sit down without being overly crowded or uncomfortable.
