These Kindle Fires will allow my students to access beautiful literature and informational text. The Kindle Fires have the capacity to provide audio narration in which the text is highlighted as the book is read aloud to the students. This support system permits students with below grade level reading skills to practice reading and enjoy texts of interest that is age-appropriate. All students deserve the opportunity to indulge in literature based on the subjects they are interested in. This creates a lifetime love of learning. It will also give them the opportunity to think about and respond to the diverse ideas of others.
